Waxdroids

Encountered on Waxworld where the Wax War was being fought between Hero World and Villain World, the waxdroids are designed to run through simple, pre-programmed gestures over and over again in impersonation of various celebrities. Until they break their programming, that is.

Rimmer took over the Hero side as commander, and soon had their army - which included Winnie the Pooh, Elvis Presley, Mother Theresa, Stan Laurel, Marilyn Monroe, Pythagoras, Albert Einstein, Ghandi, Jean-Paul Satre, Noel Coward, Pope Gregory, the Dalai Lama, Queen Victoria and Santa Claus (brought in from the fiction section) - licked into shape. Right up until the point where they all died.

Operational notes: Amongst the waxdroids we encountered were Calligula, Hitler, Goering, Goebbles, Napoleon, the Boston Strangler, Al Capone, Richard III, Rasputin and, scariest of all, James Last.
