The Later Years

The pressures of fame's exotic life style took its toll on the self confessed puppet who 'just wants to be adored.' A demanding schedule of gala luncheons, movie premieres and Oscar night bashes, coupled with his rumoured involvement with an underage puffin named Gemima, left Flibble with a chronic fish dependency, and he checked into rehab.

During those exhausting months, Flibble watched as the likes of Ed the Duck, Nookie Bear and even the great Orville fell out of the spotlight.

Determined not to follow their example, Flibble was spurred on to recovery and shortly afterwards checked himself out of the Keith Harris Institute.

Calling in favours from the myriad celebrity friends he amounted over the years, Mr Flibble launched his own internet-based chat show.

And the rest is just show business history...
