Good man Bluebell. Slainmonkey too, also quick on removing the post.

On this forum the eight different sections are referred to as "conferences". It says it in the submenu at the top of the page in the forum, next to "Mark Read". "Conferences". This "conference" is called "Classic Dwarf", therefore it is the "Classic Dwarf Conference".

    It's very simple really.

If you don't like it, then leave. That is even simpler.

In this big wide universe everything both is and isn't ironic at the same time, in the end isn't that the biggest irony of all?

Back to the topic, I wouldn't say she is my most favourite guest star of all time (although I don't think I have a specific favourite) but I found Liz Hickling... impressionable. You know, the lady simulant who appeared in a couple of episodes of Series VI. (Her co-star was good too in his dual roles albeit in a different way.)

If I recall the Series VI documentary, you weren't the only one who found her impressionable. I seem to recall Craig passing comment about her "sexy, husky voice" at one point. Was so nice when she reappeared briefly in Rimmerworld.

I did wonder what the thought was behind he double eyebrows though. Just a way to make them look less human? I liked the look of the VI simulants overall (although I liked the series IV and VII Borgy looking versions too).

So far as I recall, it was literally just because they looked too human otherwise, so it sort of set them apart. Unlike most other sims which were a bit more... robotic. And damaged, or so they always seemed to me, which struck me a nice touch considering the sims are basically outlaws on the run from decommission. Nicholas Ball and Don Henderson both seemed to have that look from what I recall, more hastily patched up and far less human looking, as if perhaps they once were human in appearance but over the years have gotten damaged in combat and fixed themselves less expertly. Compare to the more impressive Inquisitor with his auto-repair functionality.

Oh, and a reminder to watch the things you say, as this is the Classic Dwarf conference so you shouldn't be talking about characters from RDX (for the benefit of those who haven't seen the new eps, or can't see the new eps yet due to being non-UK).

That's how I interpreted them. I wonder if the versions from Series VI has improved repair facilities. Then again they have a ship of their own which probably has it's own built in repair area. I guess their ship was a bit run down too though, considering how easily Starbug defeated them. Or they really went to town with their Starbug upgrades.

( I Love Gunmen.. but I found that quick defeat a bit too convenient. I understand the reasoning though.. The episode wasn't long enough for something more protracted, and the rest made up for it.)

    Point taken, post edited.

Perhaps they were just some very skilled sims. No need to fix yourself up too often (bar a bit of maintenance) if you don't take the damage in the first place, and only really have to deal with general wear and tear. Could be why they really suped up the 'bug, overconfident from past successes, and thus pride came before the fall and their arrogance destroyed them in the end.
