The more picture I see the more I want to go out and actually watch Brittas Empire. Looks like they had a lot of fun.

There's a video on the BBC News website, which includes footage from the reunion including interviews with the cast. Currently it's the second most watched video on the site, which perhaps indicates the show's popularity.

I loved seeing the video on the BBC news website of the Brittas reunion! For a start it is great to see them all looking so well, but what a great reminder of what a wonderful series it was.

I will draw the parallel with Dwarf - it is characters with flaws, but characters that you care for - so you do love to laugh, but you do also tune in each week because you care about the characters. Gordon Brittas was the sum of all we hated about management types in the 90s, but in the same way as Laura does, you see he is an idiot, but one who cares, thus you care about him.

And as for Michael Burns as Colin, it makes me think of Ewan Bremner as Spud in Trainspotting; has anyone seen interviews with Ewen Bremner? He is like the most thoughtful actory actor there is, and when you think about it, those type of simpleton roles have to be played in a thoughtful way, in comedy or in serious films.
