Today I thought I would just spew some ideas, lay down some rhymes.
Every day I have all sorts of idea that flow through my mind, some regular some a little
X Rated, but no outlet for them. So today I am gonna lay down some law.

Remember when you were a kid and you had an N64 those were the best times
I remember just getting up watching SM:TV live and not having much worries
Most days now it is bills, working, mortgages and various worries like that
My head is spinning wondering what I have do do next, what work I need to do.
Everybody seems to be like that these days, ya know.
Really need to relax and not stress the little things ya know

Used to love Goldeneye and WCW/nWo Revenge.

Yes we need to relax more and stress less but it's easier said than done.

Nope, because I wasn't allowed a gaming console. My first Gaming console was a wii after I'd started working and second was a PS2 when they were reduced in price to clear the remaining stock. One lot of cousins had a SEGA and another lot had NS4 and PSone.

I remember just getting up watching SM:TV live and not having much worries
I don't remember this. I grew up watching Argo's Cartoon connection and Cheese TV.

    SIGH

My head is spinning wondering what I have do do next, what work I need to do.
Anyone want to do my housework for me

Everybody seems to be like that these days, ya know.

But but the housework. It does not clean itself.

I never had an N64 when I was growing up as there wasn't a lot of money at the time.

It wasn't til the early 2000s that I finally got my hands on a Megadrive, and tried to play Mario and Sonic, and did quite well with Crüeball.

    Thanks for your input guys
Everyone seems to have played all sorts of different consoles. Right now I have
X Box one, PS4 and Switch

Remebering when I had n64 and PS1 was good. They always have a special place to me
I also loved my super Nintendo.
Mega drive as well was a good one. Atari is a bit before me though. though i did play my dads BBC
Micro computer. He had a donkey kong clone on it and pong. Seems like an
Eternity ago though. From characters having a few pixels to full 3D and VR.
Really exciting to think what games will be like 10 years from now!

I have Nintendo Wii, Wii U, PS2, Xbox 360, steam link. The wii gets used more then my other consoles because it's the one with the fitness games and because it doesn't use the HDMI port I don't need to play muical connections like I do with my Xbox, Wii U, Steam link, pay tv box and bluray player.

I'm not sure if I will get a switch. Probably will if the next Pokemon games in the main franchise come out on that only. The only reason I have a 3DS is because of Pokemon X & Y.

If the Rick and Morty game comes out on PS4 I will get a PS4 with the virutal headset.

I mostly game using my PC. Had a DOS PC with 5 1/2 inch floppy drive that I used to play Duke Nukem and Cosmo's Cosmic adventure on. Early platformers and the point and click adventure games by LucasFilm/Arts and Sierra were my favourites.

    Yes, a game thread!
I grew up with the Megadrive, then PS1 and PS2. Now I've got a Wii, Wii U, PS3, PS Vita, DS, and 3DS. Not planning on getting any more, though.

I have raspberry PI I mainly use it for old game emulators I didn't know it could be used for old SCUMM games. I will have to look into that.

I'd only heard of a raspberry PI for the first time recently, was mentioned at work. They're wanting to trial them. I have a couple of old PCs that I play some of my games on they run and round better off the soundcard on my old PC then through emulators.

You can play Amiga point and clicks through emulation station. Retropie ports section also has a few scumm games to I think. It's so long since I actually played them. If you have a newer pi you can also play ports versions of quake, duke nukem (hail him), Minecraft and a few others, including the bards tale and a multiplayer Mario game to I think

Throughout my life I have thought about this.
Even as a young girl playing a gameboy chrome I got for
    Xmas.
Really I wanted a gamegear but
I grew up in a poor household, although I did have a
    Master system and then a
    Mega drive
Even now I look back on those days fondly.
Really though, I was very grateful.

My friend has a Sega Master System and we would play Lion King on it the most out of all her games. It annoys me that we never beat it because that game was freaking hard. Think its the hardest most fun game I have ever played. No save progress and couldn't even leave it paused to long.

Thanks for the great reply Nikki
Early in my school life I remember the Snes mega drive wars.
X-mas as well I remember getting my Snes which I loved

Remembering Super Mario World I get a nostalgic warm feeling
I got a mega drive nearly a year later because I really wanted Sonic
Many hours were spent playing sonic as said before you couldn't save and had to do it in one
Massive long session. I really got good at Sonic 2 in my years. always had trouble beating
Eggman but he was known as Robotnik back then. A better name I thought. Come to
Realize years later that he was Eggman in Japan the whole time!

The Switch is the new Nintendo Switch
Everyone will be looking one for
    X mas I guarantee it!

Remembering back the BBC Micro was an old (very old) PC
I remember the games loaded on cassette tapes I think
My Dad still has it in the loft I think, I will have to see if I can find it
Maybe put up a few pictures for
    Everyone. It is probably
    Right and dusty now though.

    Times change.
    Everything changes.
Xboxes and playstations are what the kids demand now.

Really though, and I'm sure you will agree,
I would like to see the old sega consoles
Make a comeback. I'm talking about
    Master systems, mega drives
    Even the dreamcast.
Roll them out in time for Christmas I say!

    Tonight I was thinking. Is
Everything as it seems - are we really looking forward to
Xmas, or are we just conditioned to believe that?

Right back in a time that actually
I don't fully recall, but I wonder if
Maybe you do, it seems like you
Might know a thing or two about the
    Exciting/disturbing news and if you
Remember then feel free to chime in.

    Look, guys....
It's not as simple as you think it is!
Violence is rarely the answer, but these are
    Extreme circumstances wouldn't you agree?
Stressful times make people desperate, that's all I'm saying.
