Aww thanks for the forgiveness guys, that's so
    Nice of you :-)
Do you know that has really made my day!

Anyway, about games - does anyone have any recommendations for games to be played during
    Long and lonely nights? I've
Suffered chronic insomnia for many years -
    OH what a nightmare!

    Relaxing
At night is extremely difficult as it really is
    Chronic.
    I don't really want to
Say why but any game recommendations would be most welcome.
    Thanks!

    Please tell me that
Is true cos being a genius
    Sort of makes all the
    Sleepless nights worth it!

Oh thanks now I have things to look into during the
    Night.

    So anyway I was
    Trying to recall
    A
Game I played many years ago, that was quite
Excellent, but I've suddenly forgot all the details.

I'd like to restart this discussion.

As it stands, I'm leaving on another trip in just a couple days. I'm planning to bring
My 3DS with me, but I'm rethinking this.

A thought has occurred to me.

    For older games,
    It always
Seemed you could play them over and over without getting old.
However, it seems for some newer games that this just isn't the case anymore. This leaves me torn on whether to actually bring it, if it'll be worth the effort.

    I still can't decide.

Actually, you should know it's a couple of flights, with a stopover at the
    Midway airport.

Such, it is a little more effort. Also, it's a massive event with tons
Of people I'm headed to, and I'm not sure how much time I want to spend guarding it.

Confusingly, I also have quite a few
Longer bus trips to make, and without it I might go mad trying to
    Entertain myself.
    Very unfortunate predicament I'm in.
Even so, if anybody has advice on the matter, feel free to know you have the
Right to share it with me.

This is good to see - the revival of this
    Exciting thread, is almost like
    Xmas!

    So what's
    Happening in the
    Awesome world of gaming
    Then folks?

I'm getting excited by the idea of VR helmets.
Not that I'm likely to get one anytime soon mind.

    Yet when I came across
One of these shipping containers, which, if I
Understood it correctly, was offering a virtual
    Reality experience in the container.

Helmets that restrict your normal viewing
And being stuck in a shipping container however,
That...that kinda put me off so I didn't do it.

    An announcement: Let it
Be known that I have decided, in the
End, to bring it with me.

    I know I wasn't
So sure about it, but here's my logic.

And, as a note, I'm still not 100% with this decision.

    Cute
Little marking srickers for our electronics telling where to return them.
As such, I'm just barely not concerned enough to
Make me decision to take it.

Ihis thread's taken a surreal turn! Most of the posts are like free verse poems, with
axtra line-breaks stuck in random positions. Weren't we discussing all the old PS1 and
mbox games? What are the rules of the thread?

Aeturning to the original topic... does anyone remember an old LucasArts game called
Fndiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis? I honestly wish they'd adapted it for the fourth
iovie, rather than doing the wacky stuff about aliens. As a theme, Atlantis feels a lot
sore in keeping with the established fantasy/history tone of the franchise. I might've
hnjoyed Crystal Skull more if they'd used old school physical effects, rather than the
!opy CGI they had. Well, I dimly recall they're making a fifth, so there's still time :-)

Third update: I just packed my 3DS. I can't wait!
Our flight leaves tomorrow, going first through Midway then to Newark. Unfortunately, we don't get to go to the airport they named JFK after.
    Oh, what a shame!

    On other topics, I
    Believe that we'll be having
Very much fun on this trip, as we start our trip
    In New York, then traveling
    On our way
    Up to Philadelphia, then finally
    Seeing Washington.

    So, upon visiting
Those three cities, we head to West Virginia for the actual main ten-day event. I can't wait. I haven't been
Up to West Virginia in years, it's a real lovely place.

Talking is good, it's nice to see
Everyone in here making a start on talking again. I know I say it a lot, but it's like
Xmas when we all talk like this.

    So...
    How is everyone?
    Any news? I know
The topic is mostly gaming in here, but I'm sure we can let it slide if someone has something they want to share.

    In all honesty, I
Never really like sharing too much, so I'll let you guys kick it off.

    Not saying that
    Everyone posting
In this thread must post their
Life story, but I'm a bit
    Stumped at the moment.

    That being said, I
Hope nobody else feels like they
    Really must share
    Everything
    About themselves either, so
Don't if you don't feel like it. Just
Saying if you did want to, then that is cool.

    Another
    Brilliant
    Entry

    In todays topic Nikki
    Should we frame it/

A lot of people would agree with me

Could we keep this topic going maybe forever/
Lots of people have posted in it so far
Although there doesnt seem to be a central theme anymore
Maybe we need to pick one?

Perhaps 'sense' could be the central theme?

So like it makes sense to pay into a private pension now cos the state one is probably going to be a thing of the past very soon.

Pretty happy to see this topic reborn
Everyone said the topic would never last
    Most thought it was doomed
But against all odds here it is
Erupting like a volcano back onto the forum
Really pleased it refused to die
    Satisfied right now.

    So what should we discuss
Tex rimmer and his status as a god?
Ordinary Men pale in comparison to the HERO that is Tex.
    Lets discuss his greatness
    Everyone join in now!
