Is it pronounced 'Twenty-kah' or 'Twen-Teeka'? Or something else?

    Who knows.

It's an intriguing title that doesn't give much away! Do you think the 'twenti' bit is significant? Or just the 'tw' (as in twin + entica - two enticers? Two entities?). Or is it 'ica' as in America (surely it's not that episode?). I reckon it sounds like some sort of evil corporation. Can it be code for something? That's going to keep me thinking for a while!

Also slightly reminiscent of Gattaca? I just realised that's what made me think it might be some kind of corporation.

Yeah, seems like the alt-America one.

You'd think it would be smart to open with the best episode, or at least one of the best recieved episode. Oddly the first episode seemed to be one of the best recieved on the night, from what I remember. But I guess they want the big expensive episode which I seem to remember describes the fourth and sixth episode recorded going from my memory of the set reports.

Starting with a strong episode would be great. I always felt starting with Trojan was a bad idea as it was one of the weakest with also some of the weakest effects.

I wondered if it would be the multiple Kryten episode. I.e. twenty-ca?

Twenty-cats? The episode where Cat finally finds the right 'small' group of girls?

I think the America one is most likely, but why would an alternative America with no technology be called that in particular? There must be a clever reason for the name. This is going to keep me guessing all through the summer!

Well I did hear that Trojan was the episode that used the most shots from the original failed Model shoot.....that's likely why it looks the worst for those effects.

I'm hoping we see another episode involving parallel universes, but as a way to introduce more interesting alternative versions of the main cast and not an excuse to bring back ones from previous episodes.

As much as I'd love to see more Ace Rimmer, I doubt there's much that could be done with the character that's hasn't already.

I want more AR stuff. It's a criminally underused vehicle in the show.

Based strictly on the official synopsis released (I've never seen any episode of RD filmed), I would venture a guess that perhaps it's an "alternate" America based on TWENTIeth century America. Remember, "all modern forms of technology are outlawed". I assume "modern" in this context would mean modern to the age the Dwarfers inhabit, not real-world modern. Rimmer and Kryten would certainly be outlawed in any version of America that only allowed technology from the twentieth century and earlier. Just a quick projection based on the few available public facts.

I saw the alternative America episode... that doesn't ring any bells. But... I may not have been paying attention enough.
