I don't have cable or satellite. Just internet. But thanks for the heads up.
Britbox is a website, and they offer a 7-day free trial. I'd say late November when all six episodes are up would be a good time to trial it.
This is actually the least excited or nervous I've ever been about new Red Dwarf. Not even in a negative way. The fact that we had a series last year, and can expect XII to be cut from the same cloth, means it doesn't feel like as much of an "event" this time around.
As soon as it finishes and the future of the franchise is in doubt, normal anxious fannery will resume!
Especially if Skipper turns out to be a gamechanger and/or cliffhanger.
If Skipper is a cliffhanger, I'll never forgive Doug Naylor. XI/XII was his one chance to do a promptly-resolved cliffhanger with no risk of infinite dangling, and he didn't bother. So he can damn well end XII properly!!
Glad to see there's a literal countdown going on in this thread now! I'm suddenly feeling really excited, like it's Christmas Eve or something. Can't wait for tomorrow
UKTVPlay hasn't got anything mentioning Cured yet.
Is your countdown inaccurate then?
It's up on UKTV Play now!!
In an interview Doug pretty much said Ace doesn't appear in Kipper.
Its called Skipper because rimmer uses some type of time skipper.
No it isn't.
Skipper i mean :P
The cast really seem confident that there will be more
Well bar the time travel to previous events in the show and Hollister, my predictions were pretty awful.
Given that there wasn't any time travel to previous events in the show, I'd say that's even worse than you'd thought.
Yes there was, stop being a Clam.
