Oh, acording to photo date, this photo is from the same episode as this storyboard: And probably, the Kryten with bunch of other androids is from "everybody Kryten" episode. I think that the other robots would be MILF (Mechanoid intergalactic liberization front). This coud be Mechocracy acording to lot of mentions starting with "Mech".
The link "Click to reveal" in this article doesn't work. I know it's useless for majority of people here, but not for random readers...
Hmm, what browser are you using? We tested it in Chrome but if you can give us some specifics we'll have a look.
I just tried on Chrome, which is on my work laptop which runs pretty well. Nothing happens when you hit click to reveal. the little arrow turns to a finger to show it can be clicked but noting happens it says Javascript:void(0) at the bottom when i hover over as well if that means anything
Skipper, eh? That was the first Ace's nickname for Lister, if I remember correctly. An Ace Rimmer episode, I wonder? Or one about Lister fulfilling his potential...
Code Monkey sez it's likely a browser caching thing, he's just made a tweak to try and make it work but let me know if it's still happening!
We take for granted now that we'll get all sorts of hints and teasers and synopses before a new series. Just stop and imagine/remember what Red Dwarf fans before the internet went through. I remember Red Dwarf conceptually, but not coherently. You found out there was new Red Dwarf when it showed up on TV. Every episode was watched cold, you learned the episode title when it came up on screen. You had no idea what was coming.
Not sure that's true! For some people, sure, and maybe for the first handful of series. But Dwarf is one of the earliest examples of a show building hype and promo for itself beforehand by way of its own magazine (the Smegazine definitely had preview stuff for V and VI in it) - and I distinctly remember an awful lot of "here's what's coming up in the series" buildup for VII and VIII in the likes of the Radio Times and SFX... and both those series definitely had big exciting trailers go out on BBC2, as well. I mean yes, we get a lot MORE now, but Dwarf's always been the kind of show where the fans want to know as much as possible, as soon as possible...
Also, people had to find out about the recordings somehow, and beyond the first couple series it couldn't have just been completely random.
I remember having an issue of SFX maybe? Before 7 that had all the crew on it and was my first look a kochanski. Also a magazine before 8 showing the prison stuff for the first time and Craig even mentioning they were back in the old bunk room
