It aired at one point on some of our PBS stations but that was up to the local affiliates. People have said it was on Syfy for a while but I never saw it. (To be fair I don't use cable and very rarely watch television). Every time I mention it to someone who I THINK would like it they just look at me. I have YET to talk to someone who knew it right off the bat.

Yes, I think we'll fit quite snugly in your car boot. If not, Ant can cling to the roof rack.

Currently lamenting the loss of Ant's Old Post(s) of the Day.

Currently wondering how to say 'binoculars' in German, because it was in today's test. Perhaps @Bluey might help me.

Currently a bit dazed. Ran straight into my old social worker (shutup) who I haven't seen in many moons and she threw me even further by saying "I remember that shirt! It used to be huge on you!" and I've just realised I have in fact owned this shirt I'm wearing since I was 11 years old. Crikey.

Currently smelling the biscuits in the oven. Biscuits and gravy for breakfast today! Maybe a bowl of Cream of Wheat with it, along with my usual 4 or 5 cups of strong black coffee.

(Biscuits are not cookies on this side of the pond)

A binoculars expert I might be, but the German language is something I never learned.

I wasn't barking orders, Ant E. I was just making a suggestion. I thought it was something you would like to do considering how much you liked to regularly bore us all with the previous thread.

Agreed! @Ant E may be many things ...... but boring isn't one of them. Most of the time....... generally speaking of course.

Currently wondering if I should finish filling out this job application. I'm semi-retired now since I got off the road and only want contract work or part-time at the most. My last contract was up a couple of weeks ago and not sure if I want to go straight back in , so to speak. I do mostly CNC programming or programming for industrial machinery and it seems like every one I contract to/for ends up either wanting me to become a full-time machine operator or programmer. I know the G codes for almost all industrial Lathes and Laser cutting machines so its not like I have a hard time finding something to do you know.

Cool, I had to build and set up and teach myself CNC milling so that I could make the stuff I make. Not a big machine, but it does the job in the alloy cutting I need done.
