If you were shipped off to a desert island with a TV, DVD player and a power source for said items, which three Red Dwarf episodes would you take to watch and why?

Hmm... that's kinda difficult and my list is likely to change with the time of day.

Right this second? Probably Terrorform, Parallel Universe (for "Tongue Tied" of course!), and maybe Better than Life.

Ironically, 'Marooned', 'Back to Reality' and off the top of my head, 'Back in the Red' purely because it lasts 90minutes.

Back to Reality - because it's my favourite episode and I never EVER tire of Timothy Spall's Andy
Better Than Life - because I feel as though this is when RD came into its own
Terrorform - because I love the opener with Kryten sending his hand for rescue and Lister and Cat's keyboard conversation is inspired

Back to Reality: My all-time favourite episode. Great writing and the unforgettable Jake Bullet and Duane Dibbley. Not to mention Billy Doyle's hairstyle.

Out of Time: Another brilliantly written episode with lots of unexpected twists and turns.

Gunmen of the Apocalypse: Rob and Doug's imagination at its best.

Marooned - the simplicity of the idea and the hilarity of the dialogue

Gunmen of the Apocalypse - Awesome plot, Emmy Award Winner, Personal Memories

Polymorph - I've never really given quiche the chance it deserves.

I've pressed the 'reply' button and sat for ten minutes looking at a blank screen because I can't make a decision.

    Right now:

    Waiting for God

    Better than Life

    The Last Day

But I could update you every ten minutes on my answer to this question, so I hope I never have to make a choice for real!

    Polymorph - nuff said!

Justice - purely for Kryten case for Rimmers defence!

Yeah, Dwarf Island. Thread title was close enough to make me think that too initially.

Anyway after a bit of though I think I'd have to go with Thanks For the Memory, Queeg and Marooned. Showing my favour for the earlier episodes there!

    Ok, a VERY tough one...

Stasis Leak Because it was the first episode of the Remastered series I saw and I loved it.

Tikka To Ride Becuase I love the play on time, with the Dwarfers changing everything, and ultimatley resulting in the prez shooting himself, Classic Dwarf.

Pete May I take Both Parts and keep all my limbs? I love this episode, along with Krytie TV... I couldn't quite decide between them. I know people say VIII was a bit of a letdown, but I loved them all!

Hmmm, well id definetly have to disagree on Back to Earth. If I was marooned with that Id just turn the telly off. Or rig up a make shift ariel and try to pick up repeats of Party Of Five!

Each to thier own of course, Its all about personal taste. Id go with Better than life (Just for Listers account of Rimmers mums letter) Justice (For the Cats "take the fifth" comment) and Legion (gotta be worth four and a half chainsaws)
