The big Doug Naylor interview on Red Dwarf 13 and 14, the anniversary, possible O2 shows and more!!!
Interesting! Thanks for the link.
Yeah, it was interesting. I wonder why he's so keen on the live O2 show? I mean...... if there were no new series coming then yeah, it could/would be important. But I would think getting two more series in would be a ....... higher .... priority with him than a one off live show, no matter how prestigious.
Producing two back to back is pretty unusual though, especially taking the guys schedules into account.
From what I gather a new series IS still the priority, but he wishes to do the live show too due to the anniversary. Why not? Lets how it goes!
I often go to the O2, incidentally. I haven't for a while, but relatively recently it was a weekly basis. So this is real nice.
Interesting article, thanks for posting.
I would love if there was at least 264 episodes of Red Dwarf. That is the number of episodes Hit tv show Fraiser got to.
Bit quiet on the Western Front re anniversary celebrations innit? Considering it's 12 days away.
No, we're getting new episode called Rescue Doug's Pants.
*Bit* of a damp squib if we’re being harsh?
shouldn't we have those Christmas lights on the forum acting as a birthday party, @Seb?
In hindsight, I wish series XII would have been saved for this year. Starting in Jan, finishing with Skipper on a Thursday, exactly 30 years on from The End. Would have been very fitting for the 30th.
Yes, Skipper is really like birthday special. I watched it yesterday with The End. Shame they didn't make something for the anniversary...
While wouldn't want Series XII put on hold, I do agree that Skipper would have made a great 30th aniversary episodes if it was put aside.
