I was on the bus when I read Danny's Tweet and thought "OMG!" this is now actually happening.

A few weeks ago I did ask Doug how the set design was coming along and his response was:

"Retro Season 5 feel but probably best look ever - though not finished yet. Ingenious the way it fits together."

Seriously looking forward to this big time now.

So that was you who asked that question, was it? I remember reading Doug's reply. I'm glad they're going for a series 5 feel as I've been thinking that a return to the look and feel of that era would be for the best.

Yep it was, I was reading some of his other tweets and couldnt help but crack up when he said stuff like how during the meetings people were worried about not being able to get rid of the tickets etc, he tweeted back at me saying how I should come to some of the production meetings.

I liked the look of series 5 so this will be awesome.

Does the first person to give him the correct answer get a writing credit?

I like the Series 5 look. Not a bad way to go.

I wouldn't mind some of the sense of scale of BtE though. Nothing major, the odd shot here and there will suffice.

Sadly I feel like a kid looking in to a totally cool toy display and knowing that I'll never get to play with the toys.
I sure wish I could see the new future stuff around here on my local channels. :-(
All those things sure do sound exciting.

Roberts just posted a blog on "llewblog"

It reads, "It's Saturday morning and I'm feeling dozy. Ive just been through the most manic week trying to sort everything out before we start work on Red Dwarf on Monday. It almost feels like I'm leaving the country, but actually I'm just going to Shepperton."

THis is seriously getting me very excited now. So, for some of us this starts in December and the rest in January but in essence it starts on Monday. GET IN!
