Let's keep all the chatter/live discussion/rage/whatever for tonight's premiere in this thread for ease of access, shall we?

Less than 2 hours to go. Although still not sure if I'm going to be able to catch it at 9:00pm or the 11:40pm repeat. We no longer have Sky so can't watch it at 10:00pm and no Freeview recorder so can't even timeshift. Only have Freesat+ and Dave isn't on it!

I hope Dave don't have "Also In HD" or "Brand New" under their graphic, or worse... *gulp* both!

I am terribly excited about all this. I really am. Don't get me wrong, I hope it's the best Dwarf has ever been, but for fun, being realistic, let's predict a score out of ten then see if your personal opinion of the episode matches that prediction after it has aired.

    Mine: 6/10

OK, I'll ay 6/10 also. I was actually thinking that before you posted yours. I hope I will be able to come back on later and say that my score has risen a lot. Time will tell!

    70 minutes to go!

I'm going to make the optimistic prediction that most people will regard it to be better than series 7, 8 and 9.

From what I've read about the episode, I'm gonna go with... 7/10.

I'll go with a 8/10, I like the premise, the idea and some of the images look alright, also early reviews have been brilliant although they may just be Red Dwarf fan-boys afraid to dislike the show

Question. I will be watching as it airs and have already pre-ordered the DVD boxset. Is it still morally/legally wrong to torrent it too for a digital version? It's the easiest way of putting it on my tablet to tide me over anytime, anywhere until the DVD is released...

It's illegal but, you know, it's up to you. Can't you record it to DVD (in a few minutes, YAY!) then do some magic computer wizardry to make it play on your tablet?

Yeah, but it's much easier and quicker to download it. And is it any less legal than recording and creating a digital version?

I don't really think it's *morally* wrong, given that there isn't an alternative. Hell, I'd pay for a legal stream that I could watch on my TV if I could. (I asked Vudu, who have other RD series 'for sale', but they didn't get back to me).

    It's illegal, though..
