For me that was easily the best episode of the series so far. No rubbishy dialogue, no awkward strung-out jokes, no muddled plotting. Really good. Very pleasantly surprised.

I enjoyed that, at times it reminded me of Series IV,
there was some amusing scenes and scenery scenes with
Blue Midget, Star Bug, Red Dwarf was stunning.

I thought that was bloody wonderful! Hilarious and with a fantastic storyline. I'll give a proper review later, but I'm already going to give that at least a 9/10 rating.

It was okay, but a bit slowly paced for me

Best episode of the series so far. I was a bit worried that all the great jokes seen in the trailers were all shown before the break, but the second half was just as good. Definitely seemed like a classic Red Dwarf episode and ranks up there with the better episodes. Nothing seemed out of place or annoying, well maybe apart from her glasses being upside down which was just a bit too stupid. But the rest of it was class.

Really liked it! Might possibly be my favourite episode so far but I'll reserve judgement for another few watches but it felt like a classic episode as it had some great lines for all of the characters.

And I got a little geek moment when soft-light Rimmer returned briefly.

As others have said, the only downside is I'd seen a lot of scenes in the trailers and thus, when it got to those bits, I was like "come on, get through it, know it off by heart already..." but had I not seen those I'd probably be saying for sure that it's the best episode so far.

    Very much enjoyed!

The chief was Steven Wickham, who played Lister's GELF bride in Emohawk.

    1. It was stupidly done
    2. Again, lister didn't give a damn that a person (not to mention another of the few human beings and of the soft and squidgey variety) died...

All the rest of the episode was really well done, well written and thought out, good jokes, hilarious lines and the science was well done, loved it enough to overlook the ridiculously poor end.

Best of the series so far, though not up to the standard of a 'classic series' episode. 8/10

In retrospect, compared to all RD:

    Trojan - 8/10
    Fathers and Suns - 6/10
    Lemons - 4/10
    Entangled - 9/10

I really liked it, it felt so much like a classic episode to me. I thought it was funny, had a good story, some good humor, good sci-fi bits. I really liked it a lot. The only problem I had was I am not really sure what killed the garbage people. Also I loved Rimmer purple uniform!

I really liked this episode apart from the dim scientist. Think it stalled for me then, but first 15 mins very good.

    Trojan 6/10
    F & S 6.5/10
    Lemons 7/10
    Entangled 7/10

Someone should get hold of Doug Naylor, point at that episode and shout "See? Just keep it simple!"

I didn't find anything "dreadful" in it, but the whole was decidedly underwhelming. A few of the jokes made me laugh out loud, but generally it was a case of forcing myself to laugh for the sake of my viewing compadres.

Hmm not sure.. It wasn't as bad as Lemons, but it wasn't good either. The line about boarding school made me laugh, and Kryten's "no" after being asked if his long explaination about if Erra worked was good, but overally... meh..

Also don't see why Rimmer would be shut down automatically in the event of Lister's death, and I don't really like how easy it was for Doug to introduce a human and kill them off.

There have been similar throw-away deaths in the shows past, though. Such as when Rimmer returned to life and then immediately blew up.
