Synopsis: Episode five lands on 9th November, and is titled M-Corp. It sees the Dwarfers upload the ship's latest software update only to discover that the Jupiter Mining Corporation, owners of Red Dwarf, have been bought by a corporation that only allows products made by them to be visible to their employees. This episode guest stars Helen George (Call the Midwife). Source: http://www.reddwarf.co.uk/news/2017/10/13/still-to-come/ I like the concept behind this. I wonder what will happen to Kryten, seeing as he's presumably not manufactured by the same company. I wonder how Helen George features? Probably a voice role? Updated ship computer?
Probably the weakest of Series XII so far, but that's not to say I didn't enjoy it. Some great one liners, and I loved the throwback to the very first scene.
Best episode of series XII by far. Might even be my favourite Dave era episode! Just a brilliant concept and interesting story, unique, and good jokes too! My only criticism - the ending is a bit controversial.
I liked it. I am enjoying these throw back moments. Plus the cast are finally remembering how to play their characters like they used to. I do have a bit of an issue as to where red dwarf got teleporters from for the equipment and how dimmer knew that was a teleporter pad by glancing at it. But that is splitting hairs!
Just watched it and thought it was an okay episode, there were funny parts in it such as finding out Rimmer kissed his uncle Frank "Can I get on?" and Cat commenting "Is that what he said?" XD also reacting that first scene from the first episode was good as well
