I think Dave would be mad not to do another series...it's their highest rated show ever in their broadcast history, and they're looking to expand their original programming...not signing off on a series that has been very well received by the general public might be a signal that they're not willing to put in that little bit extra that programme makers are looking for from a TV studio. Red Dwarf, obviously has a presence - whether they watch or not, people know the show. They know the actors. And It's also got the inbuilt viewership that gives it an advantage over new shows which may actually require more financial input from Dave than Red Dwarf gets. The biggest problem I can see with series XI is Craig - Corrie's given him time off for both BTE and now X...It might prove more difficult the next time around.
