What are your favourite characters besides the main four and Holly?
Mine have to be Pinky and Perky, members of the John Wayne fan club!

I'm not sure that's the real name of those Skutters, rather I took it as an insult Rimmer aimed at them.

It's a fair enough way of referencing them though.

I think Able was a favourite character of mine if I had to pick just one. Since we're allowed more than one, I think The Inquisitor was a favourite character in the 'bad-ass villain' category. And I'm not sure what this says about me, but I have a particular... fondness for Liz Hickling's simulant in the amoral psychopathic cybernetic babe category. True she doesn't have many contenders in that category but she... left an impression.

Legion has to be up there. Able too, it would've been a lot of work for Robert but that character could've gone somewhere!

Cassandra has to be a favourite of mine, along with any character played by Tony Hawks, suitcases and all!

Mmmm, now that's a thinker. I think I would like Camille back but as her android form and no other, would be nice to see Kryten 'settle down' lol!

I also like the Skutters, aren't they called Madge and Bob? :-)

Tony Hawks as Caligula. I'm very fond of Legion as well.

Kill Crazy was way too over the top for my liking and, as with a number of series 8 minor characters, badly acted.

Not sure we can call Ackerman 'minor' here but I thought he was a good character. Didn't like Geraldine McKewon playing Cassandra though.

I didn't care much for her either.

Cassandra is often cited by fans as series 8's best episode, but it's my least favourite.

Best episode of Series VIII is Only the Good in my opinion (huge fan of that episode, hence the username!). Ackerman's a good character too.

I know the humour in Krytie TV has been quoted in threads across the forum as being crude etc etc but I thought that was a great episode! The pubes on the soap a particular favourite. And let us not forget that Ed Bye would have thought that was great too had he been producer (I think he went at Series III or IV didn't he??) being the producer on Bottom too! I love Bottom as well so my humour is pretty crude as you can imagine and I am proud to say it! lol :-D

Krytie TV is my favourite series 8 episode. This despite the fact that it contains my all-time least favourite Red Dwarf scene: the fake b-movie sequence. Yes, I hate it even more than the dancing Blue Midgets.

Ed Bye was the producer on series 7 and 8.

Really? The dancing Blue Midgets are the most embarrassing moment in Red Dwarf history... I thought the B-movie bit was quite funny actually!
