Sort of opposite of recent future tech thread. What technology did you think would be available by now that isn't? Also what technology do you think would be a lot more advanced than it is, and why?

Yes I do know that there are actually flying cars and jetpackd

We do have anti-gravity belts, but they only defy gravity by keeping your trousers up.

I single bttf 2 out as an oddity. It's pretty much a mind , errmmm, flip, of a movie. Its so different from the first, darker and pretty odd, not so many laughs and with a plot that seemed to take all the doo lally conceptualness of the first and multiply it. Personally I don't really like it. The makers of it also realised that, and made the third a lot more similar to the first. I'm also irritated that the third didn't end better than it did. I would have liked to have seen some sort of proper closure, rather than another blast off scene, ultimately leaving you wondering.
