Watched the new child's play movies. Have to say I enjoyed it. Some creative kills and fun gore. However Luke Skywalker's voice isn't as good as the original, nor his is less maniacal character. However the fact that he's a robotic doll that walks and talks and thinks and also links to other devices like many modern day dolls do is cool.

Overall, well worth a watch, could a done with being separate from the franchise, but still good, a strong six outta ten

Why couldn’t you PM your findings to @Bluey instead of boring us all!?

Thanks, Neil. I won't be going to see it at the cinema, but I'll certainly give it a watch as soon as it becomes available on home media and let you know what I thought. I might just give the original films a rewatch in the lead up to it too.

Cool, hope you put your view of it up. I watched a TS version of it, which is actually quite good for a ts, so pm me if you want the link, or if you wanna anything else about the film just ask on here

A TS recording is one actually made in a cinema, isn't it? I'll just wait for a while for a proper version to become available as I don't think I'd be able to sit through a terrible-quality one.

If my original post is what got me banned, then it's bizzare

You don't know why you were banned, Neil? It had nothing to do with this thread as far as I'm aware and was something to do with homophobic remarks in another thread.

It just said I was banned for rules violation, which is vague to say the least

You called @Ant E a "mincing pansy" whilst accusing him of wanting to have sex with another male member. That would be why.
