Lol, was screwing around . Just OC'ed my machine a tad.... she's already running about .7 over ...... got nervous and turned my CoolerBoost on. Lol, not used to hearing those fans kick into high when its quiet! Durn jet taking off. Anyway, dialed it back and turned that Boost off! Course...... I ought to be glad those fans keep it cool I suppose.

Wanted to post this if I haven't before. Its a link to the Atari Arcade. :-)] ( Free! as in totally!). I actually remember these and pumped more quarters than I care to remember in Asteroids! Its here and free. Centipede Too. Lunar Lander! I loved that one. Missile Command. Super Breakout. Yars Revenge.

I'm another Monkey Island fan. I had the first game, The Secret of Monkey Island, on the Amiga, but there was one place I got stuck at and could never get past (this was before internet walkthroughs existed so I didn't have any help). I bought Escape from Monkey Island for my PS2 years ago and got quite far in (with a lot of help from walkthroughs) but never got round to completing it. Maybe I'll have another go at it again from the beginning sometime.

The beginning of part two when the three other three characters decide to do some sunbathing instead of helping sail the ship.

Oh go in the kitchen and put the breakfast cereal and gun powder in the cooking pot. You'll have a hallucination. Something like that.............

I actually went all the way through that video a year or two ago - admittedly doing a lot of 5-second skips.

I installed the first Monkey Island game yesterday and played it to the end, Yeah ! I had now't better to do. And I sort of remembered the puzzles as I went along, blast from the past.

Oh ! and if you want to play this download the game as with the new download you can switch between old and new graphics, the new graphics are good and the game is the same.

And did you need to use a walkthrough or did you manage to figure it all out yourself?

No I sort of remembered most stuff as it happened as I had played it years ago, if I have time to play the other 4 games I might need a walkthrough as I don't have that much time to waste on nostalgia.

I wish GOG or Steam would release The Curse of Monkey Island and Escape from Monkey Island. One of my CDs for Curse no longer works and the backup copy I made the same CD is cracked. Think that happened one of the times I moved house.
