I'm not convinced they're the same. The grilles in the background are significantly different for a start.

It certainly looks like it, also has anyone listened to the recording that Bobby made?

looks like a green version of the series 6 outfit[/quote]

Yeah, that's the impression I got. Difficult to tell with that quick appearance but those shoulders have the slightly padded look...

I hear there have been a few spoiler-free reports on Twitter. Anybody fancy posting them here?

They're definitely going for a Series 5 look, AND ME LIKEY!!! I think the new colour of the set works well. I wonder what part of the ship that is?

@Edmoore: And that's the first ep in the can! Really great buzz, lots of big laughs, nothing blew up that wasnt meant to. Shooting live is fun :-)

@Ellardent: Not gonna say much more but tonights recording exceeded my expectations in some pretty specific and thrilling ways.

@Sebpatrick: No spoilers from me, obviously. But it looks terrific, is bloody funny, and the plot of this one will... surprise you.

I asked Ellardent "So is it fair to say that "The boys are back?" his response... Its fair. They are boys, they have returned - and its goooood.

Sounds great. The reference to the plot excites me more than anything. I've never watched Red Dwarf for the humour (it's a bonus when it is funny, but so long as the jokes aren't so bad that they mar the whole thing I don't mind if it doesn't make me laugh much), but for me the plots are always at the heart of the show.

I can't give you any details, obviously - but the sets look absolutely gorgeous.

I was a big fan of the BTE set, and these are very different - but I'm totally behind the direction they've gone in. You'll see when the episodes come out why, from a story/script point of view, the style they've gone with is entirely appropriate.

And now I'm keeping schtum. ;-)

Oh Seb, you complete and utter TEASE!!!

I'm intrigued with the idea why the style is appropriate for the story/script.
