I hope the "coming up next week" clips are shown separately from the episode itself, it's not some American soap where we need to see this stuff, it's just a sitcom, and having a "coming up next week" thing before the end credits would ruin it IMHO. If they are on TV broadcasts, I'd like to hope they'd be completely removed for DVD.

I wouldn't have thought so. I do hope not, I hate those things too.

    Thanks! :-)
Will somebody here be able to put the code up when they see it for people like me who arent in when it's on? ;-)
I know it defeats the object of a code, but surely they want people to see it too!

At the end of BTE on Sunday, September 2, the announcer mumbled something and all I heard was 'to a access a secret online trailer'. I've been trying to figure out for a week what he said. A code sounds interesting.

Here's some more info on the codes...

It seems another way for Dave to grab hold of a few more viewers, particularly the fans like (presumably) most of the forum members who have all the eps on DVD anyway.

I suppose it wouldn't harm to watch them on Dave, but I don't think I will as adverts are annoying and I would rather watch them in series order.

On the other hand, giving them more viewers can only help future Dwarf, although I think viewership is probably calculated from a sample who have volunteered to install some sort of modified freeview box...

I highly doubt that no-one will upload the codes somewhere for people to access the trailers but I suppose this is "cheating."

Although this possibly means we will get a trailer very soon which is exciting!

Well everyone who doesn't live in the UK (we can't access videos on Dave) will need to wait till they are up on youtube....if anyone puts them up that is

As someone said on another thread, a proxy (google it if you are unsure where to find one) will sort this out. I'm sure this would be OK with Dave* and the producers.

    * Don't blame me if he gets angry.

Are there more than one? I listened to the interview with Robert, but I thought that was the only one.

Where did you hear this? It sounds a terrible idea if it is before end credits.

I noticed two new ship shots in two different breaks. They were good, but I still prefer the close-up in the first trailer.

yes, does anyone know if they are using the original blue midget model from series 2? that model looked great, dont know why they made it look like that in series 8.

Nope, they're using a model of the Remastered/Series VIII design.

I have just seen them. Not sure what I thought. One seemed to be in black and white

Both shots are in black and white or very dulled colour so you can't really make anything out - probably trying to keep the surprise. They won't look like that in RDX, I'm sure.

I also noticed a light on the ship - I don't recall seeing this prior to the rebuilt ship. I don't get why they're there.

It was the other one that looked black and white. The one where we see the front end
