This is an exciting question that I have been tagged in to answer in this thread, but I think I prefer the other horror thread, you know the one with Tex in? That's a good thread and relevant to my interests.

I'll definitely add the remaining Collector films to my watch list and who knows if I'll like them or not. Horrors tend to be hit and miss with me. Those are more I'll be adding to the list lol

I've not seen Martyrs  Man I need a horror weekender!

As much as I dislike it, apparently the original version of martyrs is far superior to the remake. You might also wanna try sleep tight, straw dogs, I like both versions, and high tension, which is a French extreme movie i do like.

Yes there are, the first one is good, the second is meh, though the nightclub starting scene is good

Just watched the first 2 Nightmare on Elm Street's again. Will probably watch the next 2 tomorrow and so on for the rest of the weekend. Just noticed I still had Last House on the Left too, thought I'd deleted them both tbh. May or may not watch either of them again first but I'll probably delete the original at least.

Last house on the left is one of my favourites. I like David hess, he's good in house on the edge of the park to.

Yeah, they are ok, but I very seldom watch them anymore. The original is just too dated for me and the actors are just so........ amateurish. And I usually LOVE those kind! lol, and I watch the re-make more. I'm kinda weird about my movie collection, if I have the re-make I MUST have the original too and vice versa.

And to "transfer" what we were talking about in the other thread, I watched "From Beyond" last night. Not bad at all, thanks for recommending it as I hadn't seen it. Fully understand what you meant about Barbra Crampton, yowsa! You know....... I was a carny for close to 35 years, there is a better than average chance I either know her Parents or even spoke to her as a child. The carnival life is very incestuous and mobile, both in terms of actual travel and in terms of personnel. I traveled with approximately...... guessing here....... 75 to 150 shows at one time or another. from the northeast to the west coast. A carny will switch shows at the drop of a hat depending on....... hey , you name it!

Cool. I hate the last house remake. It has none of the atmosphere of the original, and the baddies are let off far, far too lightly at the end, in fact you are the only horror fan I know who liked it!

If you ever want any recommendations just ask. All I ask is that you try to be as specific as you can be about exactly what type of horror you want me to recommend

Will do! My horror queue is pretty full at the moment, still have 6 or 7 Nightmare On Elm Street's to watch, but shouldn't take too long. And I'll definitely be needing something to watch while most of the rest of you will be enjoying the new Red Dwarfs!
