I do like a curry you see. Whats everyones favorite curry. I am taking all curry recommendations.
My mum's. It's awesome!
Must.... resist..... reply....
Jalfrezi is always a winner, with pilau rice, Keema Naan and maybe an onion bhaji.
I'm really into getting a couple of veggie sides (instead of one curry) with pilau rice. Current faves: sag aloo (potato/spinach) and chana masala (chickpea).
Yeah Sag Aloo is very nice.
I don't mind a curry, but not if it's too hot...
From me there can only be one recommendation: a chicken tikka masala.
I do not like curry. But for some reason this thread made me think of curryman, is he still a visitor here?
I was gonna get a curry on Friday, but now I've abandoned that plan and I'm gonna go get myself an ASBO.
Ah of course @Curryman, another cool poster, I think he’s still around.
Last seen yesterday.
Thats the noise I am gonna make after I have my curry on Friday
The only thing with pilau rice is that... you have to take out the feathers first.
@Snow Cloud, you getting another curry tonight?
Might I suggest avoiding one known as Phaal. I've heard it's a bit of an arse-burner. It'll go through someone faster than a whippet with a bum full of dynamite...
Going back over this thread it struck me that............. I have absolutely NO idea what ANY of these things are. What's more........ no offense anyone ....... they ALL sound disgusting. I guess the closest thing to a "curry" I've ever had was a Currywurst or 10 while in Germany. But THOSE were just a mild sausage with , I'm assuming it was curry, powder sprinkled on it.
I don't think you'd want to go anywhere near a Phaal - it's said to be sooooooo hot, you'd need to be mega drunk in order to even attempt to eat it...! (I only know this because someone else told me about his friend who'd eaten one, and was pretty much blind drunk... and he'd eaten the whole lot) *gulp*
No, no my "super spicy" days are over I'm afraid. Sounds like Kimchi and yes, I WAS mega drunk the first time I tried THAT. As I extremely seldom ever use alcohol these days, that Phaal stuff will remain a mystery to me.
