Agreed, the set looks lovely, and I like the spinning Starbug vector type icon from Series 5/6/7 in the background.

They should have had that on the screen or one for Red Dwarf itself instead of all the flashing panels of circles and random numbers/shapes that were in Series X.

I'm glad YouTube asked Kryten to host this. Anything that might bring interest to Red Dwarf from people who don't know about it is a good thing.

    I do like that set.

Not having youtube access I cannot see; is he actually dressed as Kryten?

EDIT: Just seen the feature on the news page, so I see the answer is yes!

Indeed he is dressed as Kryten.

Does anyone have the link for the Knightmare episode yet ?

Awwww, "Kryten" you are so adorable. I just want to pinch your mask cheeks. Wait...does, he really have cheeks? They don't look very pinchable, do they?

These are great. I'd like them to turn up on a future Red Dwarf DVD (such as series XI), but I'm guessing that's probably very unlikely.

I love these vids. Kryters really is a lovable old mechanoid, isn't he? I feared the use of Kryten may be a tad tacky, but not a bit of it. It's well written and made me smile muchly - even laughed out loud a few times watching the first one. It's great exposure for RD too. I'm so pleased they chose Kryten as the host. :-)

I'm also liking the green screen set. I do prefer the monitors being incorporated into the walls as opposed to just hanging there. That's not to say I didn't like the RDX sets, 'cause I did. I liked them a lot. But I feel they could perhaps be improved upon...if the budget were to allow for that of course.

I agree, In fact I would love to have a Ktyten-esque Droid around the house to do my ironing and cleaning allowing me to get on with the important things in life, like watching Red Dwarf. Lol

The Geek Week Knightmare episode was a blast from the past.

Well they're written by Robert Llewellyn and directed by Doug Naylor, so maybe they are owned by GNP and as such can make it onto the extras for RDXI. Then I could finally catch up with the rest of you  Fashionably late as ever

i must say that the makeup mask for Kryten here is better than Series 10...he looks more colourful and a bit more youthful here

That's the first thing that struck me too. It looks much more like the mask of old. The nose and mouth in series X were always catching my eye because of their oddness, but they look about back to normal in these videos.
