    Duct Soup.

I know it's not a very popular episode (or series for that matter), but it's one of my favourites, probably because I have a bit of a thing for 'sleepless nights' scenarios.

Very difficult to explain to anyone who doesn't have the same fetish.

The End. But that was just because I've been re-watching Series X and so I wanted to see the contrast between them. (I love Series I though)

I don't share the fetish, but I do love the episode.

    I haven't checked, but I'm sure I'm not alone :-)

    Epideme last night.

Not long now before I can start at The End again :-D

I don't mind Duct Soup either, but for entirely unwholesome reasons. Let's just say that if I could give Howard Burden a round of applause, I would.

Working my way through them all at the moment as I am up every night for an hour feeding our new twins (sadly not boys, so I couldn't call them Jim and bexley). Watching the first couple of seasons again is great though I am now up to better than life, I love the part where Rimmer finds out about his dad's death. I think it's a real strength that puts across the hopelessness of their situation.

I admit I had to google that name, but even knowing he was the show's costume designer, I'm still none the wiser.

Only the Good, followed by Back to Earth, which I haven't seen in absolutely ages.

All three parts of BTE... infinitely better than I remember them - seem to have matured like a fine wine.

And now I can start at the beginning again with The End :-D

I agree to a point, BTE does seem to have improved after a couple of years away, or maybe it's just that series ten just (the set) didn't really look like red dwarf, (it took me three episodes to work out if they were on starbug or RD). perhaps series 10 would have been better without the audience and done in a similar way.

    :-D

I wouldn't disagree with that, solaris. I just wish X had been grittier and (dare I say it?) more serious. More sci-fi, less badly produced sitcom.

Most RD episodes are so ingrained in my memory from watching them over and over, and I'm talking about from old days when I recorded them from the telly in VHS, so I have seen them all I would expect hundreds of times. Yeah I am that old :?

First of all I don't really watch them properly anymore but I work from home and having TV on in the background is good and I count it as watching. I never thought I would say it but I have just realized my go to episode these days is from S7 and is 'Tikka to ride' I know it gets a lot of grief from people but it is a funny episode and works well.

Had half an hour to myself so just watched the inquisitor.
Noticed a subtle background item I hadn't before. At the start when the inquisitor vaporises the fat chap with the toilet roll next to his bed, the pictures on the wall change after he is replaced. They are caricatures before he is vaporised and then Chinese geisha girls afterwards.
Do I get 2 points for noticing?
