Love the video! My one second of fame there.
I never got an email from reddwarf.co.uk I rarely do these days :-/
Yes, same here. I got the email as well.
I was unable to unlock the extra material (the still pictures activated from the buttons) but that might be something to do with my Firefox. (It won't open windows any more for some reason, even if I explicitly tell it to from the File menu. I got a direct link though.
The video itself was no problem and looked great!
And Doug Naylor always looks forlorn even when he is enthusiastic. (Probably just tired, poor man. Or doesn't like interviews. )
No co.uk email Andrew. And I get 2 sent, and I receive them every time in the past.
Got it off the webboard. About 2 hours before I got an email from rd.co.uk
Nothing much to say except fan-smagging-tastic!
I wonder if the boys get lost in TV land or our really supposed to be in our universe? The great thing about Red Dwarf is the way it's changed for practically every series and still kept being so exciting (mostly) I have a good feeling about the specials
This is Great! but the video upset me, I didnt want to see any footage at all, it looks great, but even though i only watched up to rimmer talking about saturday night TV, I stil feel like balling my eyes out and eveything is ruined!! Andrew, could I have some confirmation that won't ruin it for me?
Having watched the new footage, I have too say....
[slight spoiler alert]
It looks fantastic. Like Red Dwarf with the production value of the new Doctor Who's compared to old.
And that scene with the cast running down the street through the crowds with the music, jumping through windows and getting shot, just looked fantastic.
I'm also pretty certain though that the 'fourth wall' as some call it has well and truely gone for a burton, considering one of those hidden photos seems to show Lister bashing out a Red Dwarf script on a typewriter?
But as always, reserving judgement for final product.
I must say - the saturday night joke really calmed my fears about the lack of a laughter track - it just seemed to work!
I'm most excited about the named bullets...
Yeah reminds me of Baldrick in Blackadder going forth having a bullet with his name on it....
I got the rd.co email ok..
Having said that, I logged on and for some reason went straight to G&T first, rather than my email...
New content is up!!!
Don't see anything new yet? Still the 23rd / 24th updates.
I can't get bashing out the tune on those green buttons to work. >_
I like it,I was dreading what BTE was gonna turn out like but the clips look imressive Cant wait till tomorrow..
I still can't get the buttons to work. i've tried pressing them in the order mentioned eariler in this thread but nothing happens.
can anyone tell me where i'm going wrong?
It has to sound like the Red Dwarf theme.
and the numbers go from left to right e.g.
1 2 3 4
5 6 7 8
I got the second email from Cat today! (I'd already checked the site and found the extra content at that point but I felt chuffed just the same.)
As for Lister 'writing the script', please bear in mind, not all the scenes in that video are actually acting on set. There are other reasons why Craig Charles might have a script in his hand. Spoiler: [ Still, the third episode synopsis makes me wonder. ]
No no, there is a clear photo of Lister, in costume, typing on a typewriter prop, with a prop script with the Red Dwarf logo next to it.
Is it a prop script or is it a script? It is, categorically, a behind the scenes still...
