I'm not a fan of series 7 or 8... but one of the greatest laughters i have ever experienced was in series 7 ep 7 epideme. epideme has nearly killed lister and Kochanski decides she has to kill him as part of a plan for epideme to spread to her fake arm. and after all is said and done kryten and Kochanski leave the room with lister still dead and the cat passed out.. and as they've left you can still hear their converstaion and kryten stops talking and SCREAMS "LISTER IS DEAD"... i keep rewatching this and laugh more and more it just gets me.

    what got you the best?

He shouts 'MR LISTER!', doesn't he? It's a great scene, but I wish Robert didn't shriek that line in such a deliberately hammed-up, high-pitched tone. It, unfortunately, sums up his overall series 7 performance.

One moment that springs to mind that made me laugh out loud was another from series 7:

    RIMMER Oh, har har.

LISTER Rimmer, people who say 'har har' have no sense of humour, they just can't think of a witty retort.

    RIMMER Oh, har har.

For me either when Lister says Queeg is taking the smeg because he got a pea on toast and then he looses his pea (just the way Craig says "i've lost me pea" ) or the entire scene of White hole with Talkie Toaster "ahh so you're a waffle man" :-D

For me the laughing till my sides hurt moment was the silent conversation between Lister and Cat on the computer, whilst a Tarantula sets up home in Lister's shorts.

To many moments to name! But I can tell you one was from the Justice Zone episode at the end where cat runs up "better late then never" and wacks the droid on the head, then with a big smile on his face and bent shovel falls backwards.

And another later series moment was when they are hiding from 'petey' (the bird transformed into dino) and they are trying to figure out what to do and rimmer says "follow the rimmer shapped blur"

I couldn't choose. But, oddly from my least favourite series, VII, when Lister wakes from having had his right arm removed, and says to Kochanski something like, "My left arm I said! What kind of a navigation officer can't tell left from right?" That's one I happened to think of recently, and it gave me a chuckle.

Behind you!!! Ha Ha made you look!
Very hard to pick just 1 here but my all time favourite:

Rimmer "Would it harm you to have hair like mine?"
Cat "I have got hair like yours....just not on my head!"

That one's a nice old-fashioned Rimmer moment. Unlike many of his other lines from after series 6, it's one that wouldn't look out of place in the earlier series.

I do prefer this similar moment from DNA though:

RIMMER: Okay. You go, I'll cover you.
    OTHERS: Seriously?
    RIMMER: No.

Chris Barrie's facial expressions always make a joke for me but the top one I think arguably occurs in BodySwap as part of a three man effort.

Kryten: "Keep this safe, it's Lister's mind"

Cat: (Looks at tape in awe then drops it in his tea)

    Rimmer: Barrieface!

Very difficult to answer that but the first REALLY big laugh I recall was series 2 in Kryten when Lister put on trousers with an iron shaped hole in the upper leg and sprayed it with paint :-D

I've been trying to think of an answer to this but I can't actually answer it as there really are too many.

The bit that always cracks me up and has me belly laughing is Holly at the end of Queeg.

"We are talking Jape of the Decade. We are talking April, May, June, July, and August Fool. Yes, that's right -- I am Queeg."

Oh, and in Polymorph when Kryten's trying to remove Lister's shorts and Rimmer walks in.

It has to be this section from Quarantine:

The observation window depolarises, revealing RIMMER. He is NOT in
    uniform.

    RIMMER: Is something amiss?
LISTER: (Slight quiver in him voice) Amiss? God no, what could possibly
    be amiss?
RIMMER: You don't think there's anything amiss? I'm sitting here wearing
a red and white checked gingham dress and army boots and you think
    that's un-amiss?
CAT: No, of course not. It's just that we thought you had gone nuts! We
    were tryin' to humour you.
RIMMER: I was just doing a little test -- a little test to see if you had
    gone crazy.

He abruptly tenses and lets out a horrible yell.

RIMMER: CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! If there is one thing I can't stand it's
    crazy people.

    Gets me every time!

Whoooo good question! So many to choose from but I can safely say that series 5 made me laugh the most.

I wish I could remember the series or episode but it involved Kryten's groinal attachment. I think it was maybe in the 3rd series.

"Polymorph" probably! Perhaps the classic gag which had Kryten trying to remove Lister's shrinking boxer shorts.

RIMMER - Step up to red alert.
KRYTEN - Er sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb.

That one is one of my faves, along with this one.

Those two jokes are moments that always make me laugh out loud :-D
