Good man, if we all stick together we will get somewhere
that and flibble's aren't that bad.
They are when people have paid between £20-£30 for them. Wasn't the official item from T-2 Distribution retailing at less than £10.00?
I'm over 600 posts
The real pisser is that the person who did this probably posts on or at least reads this board, indeed, this thread where he/she sees all these people moaning about how flibbles are going for 50 a pop on ebay and thinks "kaching!" and throws a bunch of counterfeits up for auction.
The one on the right is the real one. And trust me, it's obvious. The fake has poorly sewn, uneven seams for starters and the bow is wrong. It doesn't match the real one that closely at all if you look at the details. It's obvious they were just sort of eyeballing it, not using a pattern.
Mr Flibble has put on a little weight...
I just ordered a flibble from austraila, £15 + £7 delivery, looks trustworthy 99.9% positive feed back, and seems like a colloecter and seller, apprantly factory sealed from T-2, hopefully this is will be the real one as he's had alot of positivity
10 out of 10 dude. Just checking what the seller had bought this last month and you can even see that he/she was getting the material ready for the puppets - 20mm Moving Movable Wiggly Wiggle Craft Eyes GLUE ON
I also ordered one from that seller (pop_cultcha) - received it today & all looks correct
was it "factory sealed"? this will help me know if it was from T-2
It does seem to be, I haven't opened it though.
ok, thanks that makes me feel alttle better after seeing these mock ups, I mean there not bad as I said but I'd prefer the original, well I look forward to reciving him
I just ordered one. I hope he comes through safe and sound. I can't wait after getting that rip off one! 8)
There's only one left on ebay, of the one I have ordered. I can't have mine just yet as it is for my bday (20 Sep)but I will take a look at it to see if it is in a good condition (as in no missing eyes or torn, it may not but better safe than sorry)
You know, the really sad thing about those fakes isn't that they're fake but that they're really bad fakes. A skilled seamstress could make a passable copy, but that thing is just sloppy as hell.
Seriously though, it wouldn't have been that hard for them to take a seam ripper to the original, trace an actual pattern from the original pieces and then sew it back together and make the copies from the original instead of just slapping bits of fun fur together in a sort-of, kind-of flibble-esque shape-ish and expect no-one to notice. LAZY LAZY LAZY.
By the way I found an image of what a "factory sealed" flibble should look like
That's exactly what the one I received from pop_cultcha looks like
That's great, finally the real deal 8)
