I was never a fan of the Steptoe and Son TV series, but strangely I did like the two films they made in the Seventies.

Oh, isn't Steptoe and Son what Sanford and Son was based on? I got quite a lot of mentoring from Mr. Foxx as a young man and his teachings have stayed with me. Why , every morning when he would first see me it was :

Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was excellent up until they made Julio a regular. Nothing against Julio but they were reaching by that point.

That's the first time I've seen this - any idea when it aired? After the show had finished? :-)

    Another one..! :-D

I remember the episode when they
fell out, put a divider in a room, and ended up with half a TV each. Bit of a problem as whatever one watched the other couldnt change the channel to watch something else
    .

Ps - thanks for posting the adverts.

Good heavens, never seen that one before either. 1981... I would've been nearly 9, so I didn't get to see a lot of those adverts.
