    That BBC model just looks outstanding, the detail is excellent Shame they just didn't give it to Doug to use.

    I am slightly curious as to exactly which Starbug this is meant to be. I could be wrong, but it doesn't seem to me like it's the original III-VI-era one...

    I took them at their word but the thought did occur to me too. The proportions remind me more of series VII... Mainly the smaller relative size of cockpit to the back section.

    It's a lovely model though.

    I was worried i'd be tempted to buy this. But then i saw the price!

    I'm actually really glad it's over 7 grand. If it was around £1,500 i may have done something rather silly! :-(
    It'd be great to own, but realistically unless you literally bathe in Perrier, not a very sensible purchase for the ordinary Joe.
