Fantastic post matey.:-D Although I'm not a huge reader of what the press has to say, as most of what they do say is negative and therefore depressing. Its good to see positive comments. I shall keep my eye on this thread.

Maybe I should work for the press (Did I just type that?)

Anyway, all of them saying pretty much what I did; Ep1 awful. Eps 2 and 3 sublime.

No, no, no. You're not allowed to use the word 'awful' in a thread entitled 'Positive press'. :-)

Not even with the word sublime in there? It far out-weighs awful :-D

Positive press, good ratings, I'm feeling quite optimistic as to the possibility of more Dwarf to come!

Episode 1 was alright, left me with a bit of a sour taste in my mouth but for the most part was enjoyable, 2 and 3 I enjoyed a lot more and felt were much more worth my time as they started getting into the actual story a bit more. I'm one of the people that also enjoyed all the various references to Blade Runner as I think it's a fantastic movie/book (and even computer game!).

i'm sick of all the negativity towards back to earth, especially from fans. I think they did a great job considering its been 10years! "c'mon u reds!"

Chris Barries northern hag accent was great.
+1: The Cat was as ever very cool.8)
+2: Kryten 2X4B-523P was as geeky as ever.
Craig Charles had his most dramatic scenes ever - The Garden of Rememberance and The Nearly Dead.
The plot was confsing at first, for episodes I hadn't seen, but I have now. The comedy never fails to impress.
I like the idea of being set on a non-parallel/alternative, yet contempory Earth.
The idea of time travel has not been used before, from a non-linea, not subjective view point.
It was nice to see some old episodes becoming relavent.

    *SPOILER ALERT!*
    The Cat did it.

It really just gets better every time you watch it. I never get all the dialogue first time, it's impossible! Red Dwarf has always been great on so many levels, this is no exception.
