Again. Not impressed but as mentioned above, it is a throw away gag. Is there any trailers of the early series knocking about? Not 7 and 8. To see what picture of the series they give?

Actually while kinda funny the thing that I love about that clip feels perfectly Red Dwarf, it feels like a scene grabbed out of the shows glory days. I won't say which episode it is since it's not the spoiler section but from the description and and the scenes I've seen this said episode sounds like it could have been plucked out of Red Dwarf's peak years.....I am very much looking forward to it.

That's one of the best clips that's actually felt like Red Dwarf of old :-D

I quite liked that clip although it was a curious dynamic to see Kryten telling off Lister like that.

It's another of those clips that makes me wonder if it would have worked just as well as a Lister, Rimmer scene.

I could see "I lost you, too" working just as well as the punchline directed at an increasingly irate Rimmer.

Nice to hear Starbug get a mention, but not the biggest fan on the clip. Robert seems to be overacting in every clip we've seen. Can he not keep his arms still for 5 seconds?!

How many starbugs are meant to be on board. We are led to think only 2 and they loose one in backwards. When they mention it, its like there is only the one. At the end of series 8, we see loads leaving red xdwarf

Kryten has always had very fidgety arms, however the only clip I've seen of series X that has has that was the "Smudge, smear" clip and that is the only clip so far that as actually really bothered me. Honestly I think Robert's acting is fine in this clip......I can't help but think that you are setting out to dislike what you see.

Believe me, I'm dying to like everything I see and have high hopes and am excited every time I've pressed play on a new clip. I just feel like something is 'off' on every clip, either with the set, the acting or the dialogue.

I'm hoping I just watch the first episode and come away loving it and filling this board with messages of how wrong I have been and how Series X is the best series of Red Dwarf ever, but nothing I have seen so far is making me think that. Sadly. Like I've said before, hopefully that will change once I've seen the first episode or two.

That's two new clips today that have made me laugh. And just 8 days to go now.

i think getting nitpiky about krytens arms is abit much

maybe you are more afraid of change and you are looking for old school red dwarf and instead you are seeing alot of different things, which is like the change from series 2 to 3 which was a pretty big change and would probably drive fans crazy today

The series 2 to 3 change was big I guess, but more a cosmetic change than the change in premise that happened with series 8.
& change isn't necessarily a bad thing, so long as RD is still, well returns to being funny again.

Great clip. Been enjoying the last few.

Can't believe it's only eight days to go. Doesn't feel real, for some reason.
