    Drink every time:

    Lister drinks
    Someone says "smeg"
    Someone says "Kochanski"
    Someone says "curry"
Holly appears onscreen (great in White Hole)
Events from a previous episode are referred to
    Softlight Rimmer wibblifies through something

Good concept. Think we need a sliding scale of forfeits though. E.g., a mere swig for "smeg" but a whole drink for "Kochanski".

Also, might be good to have different rules for each series or even episode. The Kochanski one would be too punishing in RDVII or VIII, but not punishing enough in RDXI!

I think the variation is the point. You get a few drinks here and there up till VII, then it gets heavy in VII and VIII, then it starts to wind down in BtE and X and you're let off entirely in XI.

What other triggers do people have?

    Oh!
Drink when a Space Corps directive is invoked

A joke isn't as funny as the audience thinks it is. This especially works in the laugh-track-less xtended version of duct soup.

I'd be in hospital by the end of Series I. Those audiences laugh at anything.
