DNA. U just can't beat the double poleroid and droid rot.

ME2, I love the humour derived from Rimmer vs Rimmer.

Only the Good or Dear Dave

Has to be Dear Dave. Series 8 is death, the way I see it. But as well, I must be the only who who really liked Dear Dave. It seems to be most people's least favourite entry in series 10, but I actually think it's one of the strongest. Or at least, significantly times better than Entangled, which I find very disjointed and full of bad jokes. That all sounded more negative than I planned. I like Dear Dave quit a lot though.

    Backwards or Kryten?

I would say Backwards - but it is a difficult one. They're two different episodes I like for different reasons, and I do like how they introduce Kryten's character, but Backwards was smegging great.

For people who like Rimmer character development - Trojan vs Holoship?

Difficult one... Big fan of both episodes. But purely for the great scene with Banks, and the hilarity of Jane Horrocks guest character, Holoship takes the biscuit.

For those who are fond of Lister being his own Daddy...

    Father and Suns vs Ouroboros

That is difficult, because I really do like Ouroboros. And I love the Lister and Pree sections of F&S, but not... the rest of it.
I'll go with Fathers and Suns for Pree's benefit, former crewman.

For fans of time travel: Tikka to Ride or Lemons?

Lemons. Tikka is riddled with plot holes and contradictions, the only major problem I can find in lemons is the language thing... which I'll just attribute to Kryten's built in Translatormijigger!

Tikka to ride ends up contradicting its very premise by the end of the episode!!

    So yes, Lemons.

For fans of The Cat being given time to shine...

    Waiting for God vs Entangled.

Entangled. Pretty good episode and the Cat/Kryten thing didn't actually get annoying.

For those who like Pete - Pete 1 or Pete 2?

Crap, I killed the thread with two awful choices. Okay, Pete 1, simply for the "follow the Rimmer-shaped blur" line.

For fans of parallel universes, Parallel Universe or Only The Good?

    Parallel Universe.

I like series 8 but Only The Good is my least favourite of that particular series (yes below Pete parts 1 and 2, both of which I quite like). And Parallel Universe was the second episode I ever saw, loved it on first viewing and still love it to this day. I actually remember being slightly disappointed that we never saw the female crew again.

    Blue or Camille?

Blue. Definitly, not because its perfect... but because I dislike Camille with passion. Its the only episode of Red Dwarf I will turn off when it comes on.

Strange that a lot of people really dislike Camille, I think it's excellent. Vive la différence 8)

    Justice or The Inquisitor?

(I like Camille very much - maybe it's even in my top ten!)

Justice. I find both of these shows a little bit flawed but still very good, sort of second-rate by 1-7 standards. Justice has the brilliant invention of the Justice Field, the very funny trial scene, and the insightful speech at the end, which blew my young mind the first time I heard it. I have a lot of affecion for Justice.

    Polymorph or Marooned?

Identity Within, if only because it was shiny, new and Cat-centric.

Back In The Red - all of it - VS Back To Earth - all of it

Cassandra, whilst a nice high in series 8 is still rubbish. Entangled, for me, is alreadty a classic!

    Very valid points.

Blue as it was nice to see the return of Rimmer at the time and the mini-rimmers always makes me LOL.

I hated the self father concept. In fact despised it!!

    Pete or Back to Earth?

Pete, for the whole "a tidal wave" scene. Literally ROFOLing

    Polymorph or polymorph remastered

Difficult, I think its one of the few episodes where the remastering works. The dubbing of Rimmer's mum I've always agreed with, much more in keeping with what we know about her.

So I'm going to go for remastered, on this unique occasion.

    Legion or Rimmerworld
