yep, I turned up about 5.55pm and got in no problem. for the previous show I went to, I sat next to a lady who only arrived at 6.15 and still got in (and had the pleasure of sitting next to me!).

Lost In TV have got it spot on.

Train tickets and hotel booked (Slough seemed to be the best option). Should be there in plenty of time.

EDIT - will also post a review, probably saturday evening, of it here. Anyone who wants to use it (Ganymede, Gazpacho Soup) will be more than welcome to copy-paste.

I'm going to email Lost in TV to return the spare standby ticket very soon. (Tomorrow's the only date the friend I was going with can't make).

    Slough???

Not sure where you're travelling from, but if it's from 'tup north , on behalf of the south, I apologise for Slough in advance!

Think of it as the South's Grimsby (really hope you're not coming from Grimsby now or that would be awkward!!!)

I didn't get in. Only the first 9 standbys did, and I was 18th, as I only arrived at 5.25pm. Gutted. I would have quit my new job early in the day if I'd have expected that, lol

That's a shame. Did you have a long journey?

Hey guys, thanks for the messages. I knew it wasnt guaranteed, but I felt sure Id got there early enough. The long journey back to Leeds is taking my mind off it, lol. 9 people with regular tickets didn't show up in time, so the first 9 standbys to arrive got wristbands for entry straight away. Then a staff member 'Nick' (Reminds me of Robert in The Man in the Rubber Mask "There's always a Nick on the production team") said that they'd know how many of the rest of us had tickets once they'd counted how many seats were empty out of those allocated to the production team. But, then they told us there weren't any spare seats at all. Nick has put me on a waiting list, incase there are returned tickets, but I'd need a full day off work somehow.

Have the first model shoot completely botched will do that, Trojan was the episode that used the most from that botched original model shoot which is why it looks so dodgy. Series XI and XII are pretty much garenteed to look better with the return of Model Unit doing the effects and the increased budget....there is no way the episodes in the coming 2 seasons will look as bad as Trojan.
