That's such a shame Clare and sorry you came all this way to be disappointed. Indeed it's the firs time that this has happened with these two series.

    Another great review!
I think we all know now this is the "everyone becomes Kryten" episode which I was quite dubious about.

Really intrigued by who the guest star is! Hoping it's Patrick Stewart!

I think he looks pretty good for someone in their mid 50's honestly.

His name came to my mind too. Has be done much comedy, though? I do remember him playing an amusingly one track minded version of himself in Extras. I would love to see him in Red Dsarf.

As for the Kryten episode, I think you might be right. I do remember people speculating that another episode in series XI was that from it's review, too, but this one seems more likely.

I know he was in an episode of frasier, He voices a character in American dad and does a couple of voice bits for family guy, the simpsons, futurama and robot chicken

He also did a comedy show recently called Blunt Talk but whether they count as the comedy gazpacho-soup is talking about i dunno but he has done alot of comedy

I would be quite impressed if they managed to get him in the show, i can't think who else they could be talking about

One thing I like is that it sounds like they have apparently made some production changes between series XI and XII to help give the 2 series' a slightly different look from one another.

The slight production changes do make the episodes being mixed between the two series a little less likely doesnt it?

To stop this before it gets too far, Stewart is mostly known for non-comedy work with a few comedy roles here and there. As I said in the report, the person I was referring to is a recognisable face in comedy, and I would say is largely associated with one particular comedy show. So while I won't say anything else on who the actor is, it's no spoiler to say it's not Stewart, and he's a bit wide of the mark to be honest.

My guess it was more that he hadn't decided when the scripts were first written, and but by the time filming started Doug already decided their placement.

Cat does look good in that suit even though it kinda makes him look a bit like a vampire lounge singer though!

    I love Adil Ray!

Last night was a fantastic episode. If you're going to do 'that' episode then 'that' was the way to do it.
