Now I have finished the book it was absolutely really good
that movie feeling too it was just great!
the negative to it was I didn't think the jokes where funny it felt a bit
like BTE to me, but all of it was good.

...it even says "Last Human" on the picture you posted... :-S

Anyway, I definitely found Last Human to be the weakest of the novels and the one I'm least likely to revisit by a good margin. It's hard to pin it down exacty, but it just didn't really feel like Red Dwarf to me.

I don't trust this review. How can I trust you read the book correctly if you couldn't read the two word title correctly. I call this review a shambles.

Tell us, what was the book about. I'd like to know, if you were reading Last Human by Doug Naylor or something completely different.

I thought it was the better of the two solo novels. Doug creates a fascinating extraterrestrial world and mixes it with an intriguing plot.

I do love how you boast about yourself in the third person.

I liked the idea of the special "future" prison, but all the stuff with new GELFs and Reketrebn was too much out of Red Dwarf for me. Rimmer's son was also a great idea.
I like the drama concept. It's definitelly more serious and less funny than Backwads. It showed a bit, how was series VII going to be like.
