I'm troubled by his post saying he has never seen Star Trek TOS before!! What a lemon!

I don't use Twitter, so anyone know what he mentioned about Red Dwarf ?

Only things he has tweeted about regarding Red Dwarf are a newspaper article about 5G mobile technology and the possibility of holograms being projected over the network (very tenuous connection to Red Dwarf but they saw fit to put a big picture from the show on the article) and also a behind the scenes picture he found from the recording of Entangled a few years ago. Nothing hinting at or mentioning another series though. I think Fandango said it was cool because it was a behind the scenes picture.

Paddy is correct, it was the behind the scenes picture I meant.

Well there'd be no point having a "none-disclosure" clause if there was nothing to disclose, so that could be taken as ever so slightly positive. I mean on a positivity scale of 0-100 it's perhaps +0.1. Maybe.

It's enough to give one eyebrow a momentary blink-and-you'll-miss-it twitch for me anyway.

Alternatively, sometimes no news is just... no news.

The longer the gap between Series X and XI, the more I think we should just leave it. The Beginning was a great send off for the show, it would be a shame to ruin it.

Then again, I'll still be jumping for joy if/when a new series is announced.

How about if Doug Naylor got Dave to commission the Red Dwarf film? The script will probably need adjusting for a smaller budget but I don't think it's too far of a stretch to imagine.

Considering the wait between 8 and Back to Earth, we haven't waited that long.

In fact it doesn't seem that long since series X in some ways, but I think that's more to do with time appearing to move faster when you reach my age. (Except on some work days where time can sometime shift to a slooooow craaaawwwwwwl.)

True but the return of RD a couple years ago was a wasted opportunity. The momentum has been lost...

Very true. It was a pointless exercise...well, not quite the disaster that BtE was. Then again initial overnight ratings for the first episode Trojan were 1.46 million but by the final episode had dropped to 975 thousand...

My guess that "if" there is any new news to drop, it'll happen at next Dimention Jump.....until then I will avoid any speculation.
