I'm still offended by the constant Friday-update-bashing that goes on in this thread. :x

It's getting to the stage where even when we DO have proper new series news to update with, I'm going to hold off on it just to annoy you lot.

Tis true as back in December Doug wrote on his twitter account that he was writing something or words to that effect. I think the thing to remember is that due to the success and acclaim of X, XI is likely to go ahead. I would love it to be this year that we see it but that is probably unlikely now. Hopefully Doug is coming up with some vintage Dwarf episodes right now that could be even better than X. As long as it is not too long it is probably better to take time than bring out something rushed. Please more of the same as X and improved further. Also no Kochanski as a main character hopefully.

Oh, Seb. Impatience for new updates on a potential new series is the sincerest form of fan intended flattery. You must be able to see that. ;-)

P.S. Can you be bribed with baked goods?

It's another Tuesday today and STILL no news......
Yes, I'm guilty or being a regular in this threat, but it is a way of showing in a light hearted but eager way that we 'wait with baited breath' (is that really how you spell that phrase?)on a new chapter in the life of four of the greatest characters ever thought up. 8)

Not necessarily, I think I remember Doug saying something along the lines that as the script writing was a bit rushed and re-writes done at the same time as filming he wanted to make sure they were complete well before filming starts for RDXII, but is that possible as without knowing what the budget is and what crew and locations could be used, maybe its only possible to have a basic outline of scripts.

That's probably why there is not much news or updates until everything is in place, then it's all hands on deck "lets get it done".

I know, I know. All I'm saying is, I work hard on the weekly updates, and while admittedly sometimes it's just cast news, I have been trying to provide interesting new content and features relating to the show whenever I can. But lately, the only comment that gets passed on the site around here is "Another week without a Series XI announcement!"

I'm just saying, some indication that people are reading and enjoying the other stuff would be nice from time to time ;-)

    What other stuff's that then?

    ;-)

Thanks for the info on the Dimension Jump logos, I didn't realise they are different each time. Also learning more about Mugs Murphy was cool too 8)

Is there any scope for a kind of comments section to each article? I know there's here but not everyone who reads the site would like to join here just to comment on it. But looking at the cons that would give you a lot more moderation to do on top of what you already do on here.

Reading you loud and clear. I'll make a point to do a better job at commenting on the features you put together for the website. You are appreciated! 8)

It is a bit like being the Forum Mom? All of that hard work on a daily basis. No outward appreciation unless you suddenly declare that you are taking the munchkins on vacation, or, in this case, have news on a new series. Darn kids!
