I had the same thing, all the dates were availible from the drop down menu, so I was foolishly hopeful. Oh well.

Exactly. Those of us without are understandably disappointed. And to cheer myself up, all I think is "New Red Dwarf next year". And then I'm happy again

I couldn't reply to this until we'd publicly confirmed, but as you may have seen in this week's site update, there's no need to get there especially early in the fear that you won't get a seat.

If you've got a ticket, you're as close to guaranteed getting into the recording as we can reasonably say (you know, pending any unforeseen circumstances). There have NOT been any more tickets issued than there are seats.

Excellent. Oooooh I'm getting so excited!!! Just asked Bobby, on Twitter, about any pubs in the area. He said he'd have to ask Craig... lol :-)

That's a relief about almost-certain a seat per ticket news this week :-D

I emailed about tickets/seating the other day, and got this response: (the emails read top to bottom)

Is it true that having a ticket is still no guarantee of entry/seating?
If filming is from 5:30, what time is best to arrive in order to obtain said entry/seating?
I don't want to turn up at 3:30 and stand around looking like a lemon if I don't have to!
Or is it all allocated seating?

    Hi Annie,

Not in the case of Red Dwarf - we are relying heavily on the fans who have been successful, using the tickets and turning up, so if any tickets are going spare, we we hope we will be informed so that we can allocate them to the waiting list.

    Kind regards
    Nick

    ----------
Excellent, so if I've got tickets, then I'll definitely get in - and I won't need to arrive too far in advance. (I presume once inside, the seating becomes a free for all though)

    ----------
    Hello Annie

That's correct. So long as people are using their tickets and just not turning up, we won't need to review the policy. For Red Dwarf, we want to make sure a ticket means a place in the studio.

    All the best
    Nick

That saves me another worry, at least the driver wont be charging that on top. It'll feel quite cool driving into Shepperton like we're Stars or something. I'm already counting down the days lol.

It's typical that the only filming date not on a Fri is the Sat 7th. I'm going down to Surrey on fri 6th to go to the Lakeside for the darts that weekend. If that 1 had been the fri as well, it would have been perfect. It would have given us something to do on the Fri and saved an extra trip. Not that I'm complaining really. I'll still be down on the 27th. :-)

I have a question: If Craig Charles has a gig booked on the 23rd Dec in Leeds, what does that mean for the recording of the show on that day?
