It is a beautiful model I do have to say, and while a lot of time and love has gone into building it, it is not an original or official model so on that score is not worth much to any collector. Of course it is worth a lot to the builder, but i'm afraid to say not really to anyone else.

I mean a Rolex watch is worth a lot of money but a Chinese knockoff is a Tenner.

My grandma called Ms. Crabtree an old biddy after she replaced her as lead choir singer.

Please don't invite Ms. Claudia to my house party cause I can't stand that old biddy.

So @Ant E are you are saying RECTUMfacedPIGMY and Kry10 are the same dude ?? I did not know this. Makes no difference though.
On topic, overall it is a nice model and a huge amount of work and skill gone into making it, but worth the same as a rip off Rolex to me. That's nowt in all honesty, no providence, no value.

I think I solved this problem. Now listen @RECTUMfacedPYGMY:

Instead of desperately trying to sell it, bring it back to the "very talented model maker" and tell him you weren't happy with it, because it can't fly or whatever, and you want your money back.
He probably won't agree, but I believe you with your amazing bussiness skills will persuade him. ;-)

With negotiating skill like this, you should just set the thing on fire as calling people names while trying to sell them something gets you nowhere. did you go to the Donald Trump school of Charisma ?
