I mentally picture this :x and this:x alone. Even on other forums I use :-). But for the record, he is very right up above. This has been the chosen preferred thread for the updates so far.

That would be Squidward from Spongebob Squarepants...I know, but the kids seem to like it! (must admit, it makes me chuckle too)

I've never seen it either. I can't stand animations. I haven't even seen any those much-praised Pixar movies like Toy Story.

    There's a difference between "animations" as you put it & children's programmes/films. . .

I see, so when you said "I can't stand animations" you meant all "animations" including "those much-praised Pixar movies like Toy Story."

    Yes, that's what I said.

Why, what did you infer from what I wrote?

The fact that you specified a childrens animation (Toy Story) especially as it was in response to my post about children's programmes initially led me to believe your response was in regards to children's programmes only.

Some kids shows can be funny. I watch a bunch to help me with learning Welsh. "SpynjBob Pantsgwar" the Welsh language dubbed version is not among my favourites...

What drives you to learn Welsh? It seems like a difficult language to learn.

I don't watch children's programmes, either. I can't see the entertainment in watching endless juvenile behaviour, so I come here when I'm bored instead.;-)

Just genuinely wondering, what don't you like animations? Is it the fact that most of them are aimed at children as a primary audience? What about ones with more mature themes such as Persepolis or Animal Farm, or those clearly aimed at an older audience (South Park, Family guy etc. - for the record I can't stand them!)?
