yeah, I think I've seen it, I've seen a lot of prison movies over the years. I love the exploitation ones like 'the big bird cage' and 'reform school girls'. That's worth seeing just for the way Wendy o Williams talks and dresses! Sybil danning is also equally awesome. Few people are aware of the fact that's is actually a very close rework of the movie 'caged'. Which is also great, along with a lot of other film noir prison movies. A genre that suited the prison movie perfectly. But, if there's one movie you take from this thread, make sure its scum, its somes up british borstal at the time perfectly, and I can relate to a lot of it from my youth

Went and read a few of your reviews yesterday. Quite good I must say! Only went back so far though, will probably go back and read more of the earlier ones this weekend at some point. Good Job!

Watched Guardians of the Galaxy last night. Well, re-watched it anyway. Made me think of this thread, I mean how would you classify it? Its .... Science Fiction ...... its Action ..... its Comedy .... its Comicbook/Graphic Novel. I didn't think it lived up to its hype the first time I watched it but upon re-watching my opinion of it went WAY up. Must have been having a bad day the first time because NOW I really want to see the sequel whereas before I didn't.

    Thanks :-)
My blogger has a search option top right. my WP is more organised with links to all reviews under each genre. But the WP blog is much newer.

GotG covers multiple genres, mainly sci-fi and comicbook adaptation for me. I liked it, twas decent (I've reviewed it). The sequel was good too actually (and I have superhero movie fatigue).

Yeah, so do I. Oddly, there's a few I wouldn't mind seeing a few more of. Thor, for example. Now that they've made both Batman and Superman killers I've pretty much given up on them. I mean, c'mon we don't have to have a "gritty reboot" for every "good guy" to turn him into a tortured semi-good/semi-bad ball of angst. That's why they were called "Superhero's" in the first place.

Also..... ranting now, sorry:redface:, can you explain to me why the "Hero's" are supposed to feel bad about "collateral damage" anyway. Why do those people want? To just let whatever Horror from Space/Time/Dimension is eating the Earth today have its way? "There, we saved the Earth and Time itself for you from the Slavering Beasts of Intervoidal Contamination! What? What about the ones who died? We're sorry we couldn't save.... what? So , its MY fault I couldn't catch that falling skyscraper and it fell on your husband? Aye, Yi Yi.

One of the best superhero movies, and probably Marvel's best, in my personal opinion, is Captain America: Civil War. It's an excellent movie start to finish, but let down by a premise that is at its core, that the heroes should be blamed for those who died while they were fighting for everyone's live against incredible odds. Yet Tony Stark spawns a generation of pyshobots in Age of Ultron and is somehow not incarcerated!

Can't see the pictures, possibly because I'm on a mobile, but the top three would be Victor Crowley, Michael and jason

Freddy, don't get me started on that again. You only vote for Spaulding out of family loyalty

I remember trailers were always spoken by that man who sounded like he smoked a hundred fags a day. He always started with the phrase in a world, and always ended with he didn't get mad, he got even
