I read some the other day, they can't spell, they have no idea about Red Dwarf and it's mostly rubbish! That's my review of their replies.

You'll find the Guardian take a similar approach to pretty much, well, everything.

It's not worth paying much attention to.

They're treating Red Dwarf the same way The Daily Express treats foreigners ;-)

At least it's being talked about, that's one for team Dwarf the way I look at it.

    True.

I think/hope they're in for a shock to just how good it is.
    Man, I hope it's good.
Otherwise it could be really embarrassing.

I personally think that it is a red herring. I think Robert Llewelyn may have subtly hinted that there was a fair amount of misdirection going on in what we are all seeing before the event. Having said that Ive seen a lot of RD stuff lately so it may not have been Mr Llewelyn who hinted at it at all.

As for the posts on the Gaurdian website, well, I'm not worried about the new episodes, Doug has had 9+ years to gather material. I think there will be some comedy gold in there. Either way we get some kind of "closure" from the season 8 cliffhanger ending.

I agree that some of the comments on the guardian site go way over the top.

Having said that however, I don`t think that that trailer was well put together at all. It starts with both the Corrie set and carbug, both of which initially caused even hardcore fans to say, `what the...?`. Then we have the weak Xfactor dialogue...

I still remain hopeful that the eps will be good but surely better footage could have been used as a teaser.

Remember, Guardian readers are boarder line Daily Mail reader morons (just opposite in politics)!

How anyone can judge a 30 second clip is beyond me!!!

    shame on anyone who does!!!

Well, of course you can judge a 30 second clip. You just can`t judge how good the entire show will be because of it.
