Well tomorrow the Premier League is back as The Arsenal take on Leicester at the home of football.

Difficult to predict the title race but City have spent a lot of money and Pep is still a top manager with a years PL experience behind him. Utd have invested well too and should be comfortably top 4 with Chelsea who I think will struggle to maintain last years level, particularly with the added CL games.

As for my beloved Gunners, I think it will be much of the same, circa 75 points, with maybe a good cup run. We've bought two good players but the uncertainty around several others coupled with the usual 'bad luck' with injuries means we won't improve markedly.

Any predictions for the new season?

Chelsea, or city, purely for the new transfers, livepool will be strong and ,as for united, perm any of the top three positions. Arsenal will do the usual moaning that they do every season about the manager and transfers, and then do nothing after every season, as per, also ian wright will say they need a new manager every time he's in the papers, which is every week.

as for my outstanding new players

    lazacette
matic at united, not strictly new, I know
    musa at Leicester is good
zinchenko and mendy are both awesome
    jansenn at Tottenham is good
ragnar klavan at Liverpool will be great
zaza at west ham is worth a watch

I'm v disappointed there's no red dwarf fantasy football this year. Still time if anyone wants to quickly set it up

they adjust the value of players according to current form, or they used to anyway. Its a general increase of 0.1 for a good week or two, and similar decrease for a bad few weeks. At the end of a bad season, a top striker's value can be 2 million less than at the start. That's usually why at the start of the season there's usually some quality strikers who are cheap, due to the previous bad season, and rubbish who are really dear. i.e vardy (and many other Leicester players) were very overpriced last season, thanks to the previous seasons title win

I think Leicester are going to do much better in the league than last season to. Not win it of course, but it I wouldn't rule out a top ten, and midtable at worst.

See that ludicrous display last night?

What was Wenger thinking, sending Walcott on that early?

Fing about Arsenal is, they always try an' walk it in.

The passion, the comaradery, the rivalry, the endless statistics, the arguements about money, the joy and sorrow and skill, the songs, the spitroasts, the pies and the referees being smegers
