    Of life

Snuggling up cosy and listening to the wind howl

    Freshly ironed still hot pants/socks

The virtual waltz you do to a freshly full fridge

The feeling when you wake up and realise you don't have to get up

The virtual new bed feeling you get from freshly laundered and cleaned sheets

The life giving aroma of bacon in the morning, the only true revitaliser for a hangover

    Finding money in your pockets

But beware the ultimate free sadistic, joyless horror of the first cold foot out of bed in the morning . The one that makes you go through a hundred reasons to ring in sick

    More?

I was thinking about this kind of thing earlier. I just love nights like this when you're indoors and can hear a mini gale blowing outside. It creates a nice atmosphere.

it's great when your indoors warm and you're watching it snowing outside. It's something grand to watch snow fall. It's so quiet and yet so active, following the flakes to the floor, the snow also reflects everything and makes it so much brighter. Admittedly it isn't so great if you're stuck out in it

watching the last few seconds of sunset, specially if you're near the sea and see it sink into the ocean

hearing starlings, songbirds etc shrilling on a warm evening. It always makes me think of the darling buds of may.

maybe unusual, but I've always loved the fog, REAL thick fog. It changes the world you're in and makes everything so much more mysterious and eerie

The sublime feeling I get when I see you British talk about Tea and knowing I'll never have to willingly drink another cup of Earl Grey.

A nice sandwich. It may not seem like much but when I get a nice tasty sandwich from lunch. Maybe bought, maybe i made effort the night before and made a great one..it usually brightens my day and gives me something to look forward to. Or if I go somewhere and they supply really nice sandwiches. I like sandwiches.

Thats the same as me. I have a tea after dinner every night. My dad gave me a pack of Earl Grey to try and i had to pour it out. it left a terrible after taste. I wanted to like it because its what Captain Picard drinks.

Omg that horrible metallic after taste is the worst! Everyone raves about Earl Grey, but I never want to drink that gross stuff again :sulk:
