The RD depiction of Kennedy as a flawed and, in many respects, not so admirable person, is a refreshing change from the decades of Saint John the Martyr. I made some inquiries to the Kennedy Presidential Library about Kennedy's plans for a second term and they gave me directions to some books. I think that JFK would have done something like the Daisy Girl ad in his fight against Barry Goldwater. A JFK version of Daisy Girl would've been interesting. Side note: the consensus in my school history class was that Daisy wouldn't have been half as effective at emotional manipulation had it been a little boy instead of the Daisy Girl.
