The final three seasons exists solely in Abe's imagination.
I regret saying so absolutely, but I insist that I'm not entirely wrong. Netflix had it in 10 seasons for a reason.
That is getting added to my sig if you can't admit that it is an ambiguous situation.
As I do not worship at the alter of Saint Netflix I actually checked out the FACTS. IF you do that , not only will you find the truth but you will be enlightened. As the 2 fact based examples I've offered are clearly NOT enough then how about 1 more? Doubt if it will do any good but here, from the dedicated Futurama Wiki :
"Season Ten was the seventh production season and the ninth and tenth broadcast season of Futurama. The original order of twenty-six episodes was split; the first thirteen episodes aired as the ninth season, and the remaining thirteen episodes aired in 2013 as "another run." Comedy Central had officially labelled this season as "Season 7B" while season nine was called "Season 7A". The first episode aired on June 19, 2013 on Comedy Central."
So. SEVEN SEASONS of Futurama spread out over 10 broadcast seasons due to ratings/cancellation and Sports broadcasts (of all things).(I'll let you look up that little tid bit) IF you buy the REAL ACTUAL DVD's THERE ARE 7 SEASONS. IT WAS MEANT TO HAVE 7 SEASONS, MATT and DAVID WROTE IT AS 7 SEASONS, IT WAS PRODUCED AS 7 SEASONS AND BY ALL AUTHORITY IS OFFICALLY 7 SEASONS LONG.
This seems unnecessarily confusing.
Red Dwarf XI and XII were produced together then split for broadcast. Does that mean they are still one season? No. In the end, a broadcast season is what a season is, and a "production season" isn't a season at all, it's a production block.
I agree, but irregardless of however Netflix or any other streaming service/media outlet sell's it, there's 7 seasons of Futurama.
@Abe but more Christmassy and all *sigh* Check the Episode Lists. *Sigh* Check the Episode Lists.
@Abe but more Christmassy and all ........ son ..... young man.......... give it up. I'm sorry if you have been mislead by what's obviously your sole source of information on Futurama, but its wrong. No matter how you try to warp logic around to your perception, the plain simple fact is there were 7 seasons of Futurama.
Need a few more proofs?
@Wenceslas is calling Matt Groening: Hey, Matt! How many episodes and seasons has Futurama.
Matt: Sorry, bro. I'm busy. I must work on another hunderds episodes of The Simpsons. Please, SAVE ME!
(I think I'll keep quiet this time )
This isn't the A-Z thread.
Whining and pouting.
Binging on "Are You Being Served" for the moment. I think I'll be cancelling BritBox pretty soon as I'll be buying the DVD of series XII of R.D. and want to finish up the Grace Brothers gang while I can. Some good writers on that show and the actors are no slouch either.
@Decembers and @Underdunn Turkey gave me some good recommendations for what to watch on there before my subscription runs out.
If Black Books is on Britbox I recommend it despite only having seen 3 or 4 episodes. I need to watch more but don't think it is airing here at the moment. My kept catching the end of it earlier in the year since it was on before Red Dwarf XI on ABC2
I need to leave my TV on the UKTV channel of my paytv subscription more often. When I've been at my parents recently have been watching To the Manor Born
Pawn Stars again
Star Trek:TNG and Pee Wee's Playhouse
